Agil Etemadi is currently a goalkeeper coach at Almere City FC, after he ended his active football career in June 2023. Born in Tehran, Etemadi moved to the Netherlands at a young age and started his career at SC Heerenveen. He played for clubs such as FC Emmen, Almere City, De Graafschap, and the Iranian Tractor Sazi. With De Graafschap, he was promoted to the Eredivisie. During his career, he also represented the Netherlands at Jong Oranje.
